What is Google Analytics?

The web analytics solution for companies charge, and smarter and easier to use

Google Analytics is a web analytics solution for companies that provides valuable information on web site traffic and marketing plan's effectiveness. Now, thanks to some powerful features, flexible and easy to use, you can view and analyze traffic from a completely different perspective. Google Analytics will help you design more targeted ads to improve your marketing efforts and create websites that generate more conversions.

Google offers online analytical training. For more information visit Google Analytics Training

Google Analytics is "the science of analysis." Google Analytics provides the means to analyze web site data. However, somewhere along the line, some users and research providers appear to have focused more on data and less on analysis. In recent months Google has relaunched three powerful tools of analysis: intelligence, in-page Order of Google Analytics and weighted.

The three tools to aid data analysis reports provide deeper than mere percentages, which often hide important information, for what these new updates to Google Analytics makes point to receive the same. The key information that allows these tools allow people to know how they interact with your website and how to use this information to improve your website in increasing conversions.

Let's look at three tools in a little more detail.

1. Intelligence Analysis

In the New York ad tech, Google announced its major contributors, a very useful update to the intelligence reports.

Intelligence Analytics can provide automatic alerts when there are significant changes in data patterns indicative of their site during periods daily, weekly and monthly.

Google has launched some new features in the intelligence reports to be useful: Top contributors for personalized alerts and SMS alerts and email. When you set a custom alert to capture significant changes in an account, you can now see a breakdown of the individual segments are the most likely instigators of the changes in traffic. For example, in the following screenshot we can see that the June 4 GoogleStore visits rose to 510%. This alert is triggered because we set a custom alert for "visits increased by 10%."

2. In-page analysis

To make statistical information with web pages, including information about where visitors to the page you click, in-page of Google Analytics makes it much easier to gain knowledge in the design of your website usability.

3. Weighted Order

This is a great step forward for Google Analytics, and that show what are the web site data that need to be weighed. For example, a site with 10,000 visits and a high value is more important for you to a page that has had ten hits, but has the lowest percentage of dropouts in general (low bounce rates are good). If you lower the bounce rate by 1% with 10,000 page views, you will experience a difference in your site. If you focus on fixing the page to ten visits, he has been a long time for very little reward.

The weighted Order appears when you click on "Bounce in most reports. When you enable weighted Order applies an algorithm that takes into account the number of visits to each page, so that at the forefront of the articles with the most visits and higher dropout rates

The Google Search Associates is a public list of certified partners with Google AdWords that have passed the qualification criteria through training and passing of examinations and also meet some requirements of practical experience. This tool can be used to locate suitable partners according to several criteria: experience, location and scope of services. By using the Google search partners should take into account:

    * The Google certification programs provide training and certify professionals on the recommended products and techniques so that they can
manage and optimize the advertising programs through Google's advertising tools.
    * Professionals must meet certain terms and conditions. After rigorous testing and practical application, companies can use the badge associated
with Google certification as an indication of having obtained such qualification.
    * Note if you see the label: if you get help to manage search programs, and assistance and expertise with the hiring of an associate with Google
certification ensures a certain level of knowledge and experience.
    * Choosing the best candidate for their specific needs should be the result of review and compare professionals trained and certified by Google.

Google makes no promises or guarantees the performance or quality of any businesses or companies listed in search engine partners. The list order is based on professional experience in managing budgets similar to yours. The order may change over time as we add additional criteria to refine your results. Google does not

BlackBerry maker RIM launches new operating system for PlayBook

Research In Motion (RIM), makers of BlackBerry smartphones, on Friday launched a new operating system (OS) for its PlayBook tablets with additional functionalities, including the ability to run Android-based applications.

The BlackBerry PlayBook OS 2.0 will add advanced messaging features, increased social integration and better browser, among other things, Research In Motion (RIM) Manager, Carrier Product (India), Ranjan Moses told reporters here.

The new OS also supports Android applications like Pool Break Pro. This will enable developers create applications for Android and make the same applications available to PlayBook users as well.

The new OS is available as a free update for existing users and the new devices will have the new OS in-built. BlackBerry Playbook is available at an offer price of Rs 19,990 for the 64 GB model.

In December last year, the Canadian giant had slashed the price of its PlayBook by more than half to Rs 13,490 for the 16 GB version to cash in on the festive season and burgeoning demand for tablet PCs in India.

RIM, which is known for its BlackBerry series of phones, had introduced PlayBook in June in the Indian market.

According to analysts, sales in the tablet PC segment in India are expected to touch one million units over the next 12 months. With 3G (high-speed internet services) being rolled out aggressively, the opportunity has only expanded, they said.

Since the launch of Apple's iPad in the country, the tablet market has been witnessing huge competition, with more and more new contenders launching their devices.

Pay Per Click (PPC)

If your page does not appear in the top 20 results of a search engine and do not get visitors through search engines then, you can pay for it. Many browsers have a column on the right side of search results where you can purchase a "sponsored link", ie you can list their payment of a fee. This is what is known as Pay Per Click (PPC)

Pay Per Click concept

If your page does not appear in the top 20 results of a search engine (which is pretty optimistic) likely will not get visitors through search engines, unless you pay for it. Many browsers, however, have a column on the right side of search results where you can purchase a "sponsored link", ie you can list their payment of a fee. This is what is known as Pay Per Click (PPC) or Google Adword

Systems, pay-per-click or pay-per-views "are based advertising model where the advertiser pays for every royal visit to receive through the system. In a search engine PPC, advertisers bid to get the top positions in the keywords of interest. The highest bid, along with other criteria, does the ad to appear at the top of the list of results, which (supposedly) that the web will have a greater number of visitors, while increasing the cost per visit.

The major PPC systems currently operating in Spain are: Google Adwords, Espotting and Overture. All feed on "sponsored results" or "ad links" to the major search engines and web portals. Google, Overture and Espotting have programs to pay for visits that allow advertisers to select a set of keywords associated with a URL to direct visitors, custom titles and descriptions for each keyword, elements that appear in the results provided Google, Overture and Espotting as well as their respective networks of partners. No clutch, the order of advertisers in Google's case no longer depends only on the commitment of our advertisers, but other factors such as click-through rate ("Click-Through Rate" - CTR) of the ad.
The fundamental advantage of the system of "Pay per click" is its ability to provide almost immediate visibility to advertisers on major search engines and portals. Its disadvantage lies in its, in many cases, high cost and should be complemented by campaigns positioning results, "free" and profitability measurement systems.
How does Pay Per Click?

First you pick the keywords that are important to your customers, those terms that people search in the search. Next, research how other advertisers are paying to appear on such lists of sponsored links. The higher you want to appear on the list of sponsors, the more you pay. The list begins with the best postor.Evidentemente, you want to find out how much you pay, for many customers and how much business will provide these visitors. You should be able to identify more than 100 search terms related by those who might want to bid on a single product or service.
Advantages

- PPC is the most effective method to get potential customers
- You have the ability to continuously monitor the cost per visitor
- It's simple: the more you pay, the best positions will have on the list of "sponsored links"
- You only pay for visitors who click on your ad
- With PPC you can choose the terms to advertise your products and services
-Generate quality traffic to your website and visitors can read a description of your activity before you click on your ad

What is Google Adwords?

With Google AdWords you can create and display ads for your company, quickly and easily. Post your ads on Google and our advertising network, whatever your budget, you only pay if people click your ads.

AdWords ads appear alongside search results when a user searches on Google using one of your keywords. Ads appear under "Sponsored Links" in the sidebar of the search page or above the free search results. In this way, your advertising will be aimed at an audience already interested in your business. You can also post their ads on Web sites to display the Google network growth. And you can select the locations in the network display exactly where you want to display or you can let the role of contextual targeting your keywords relate to the content of web sites.

3 Reasons Why Your PageRank is Decrease

The actual PageRank is a link analysis algorithm introduced by Google in the year 1998 and it is mathematically rescaled by Google out 0f 100. This is the actual formula that tells Google which website has more importance and deserves to be ranked higher. The PageRank that is popular amongst bloggers and webmasters is the Google Toolbar PageRank which has always remained the hot topic in SEO forums and blogs. Of course most of you know that the Toolbar PageRank is a number between 0 and 10 which is based on the number of incoming links pointing to a site. It is updated mostly four times in a year. The most recent PageRank update was in November 8th 2011. Whenever I update readers about PageRank news many people rejoice on hearing the news while some get demotivated. So in today's post we will learn learn the technical reasons of why some Pages rank high with just few links while others still remain where they are despite several inbound links.

Is PageRank solely dependent on Incoming Links?

The answer is a straight no! It is true that PR is scaled on the number of dofollow links that point to your blog or site, but if that was the only source to achieve high PR then why does PageRank drop for some? and why do blogs with just few links rank higher than those with several incoming links? Google robots look carefully at three factors:

  • Significance of your incoming links
  • Balance of your Incoming and Outgoing links,
  • Use of your Current PageRank.
Lets discuss these three phrases one by one.

1. Significance Of Your Incoming Links

Google scans world Wide Web every fraction of second and crawls and indexes pages in its databases continuously. It looks for quality websites with good generated content and categorizes them separately from those forums, webs or blogs that publish poor content, old stories and violate copyrights. When sites with rich authority and sites with PR greater than 2 (i.e. PR>2) link to you, your blog starts attracting Google spiders and forces them to pay you proper respect because you have been recommended (linked) by a blog that has already won reputation in the eyes of Google for the past 4 months and above. So significance is actually referring to whether sites that link to you have some PR or not. The higher a site's PR the greater its significance. Can there be a difference in who is linking you? Yes there lies a big gap. Follow the table below,
Please Note: Assume that your site has a PR 0.0 and your blog starts receiving the following Links from one single site. I repeat the incoming links mentioned here are from one single site and not several. See how these links can effect your PR.
Note: The follow data is based on my experience so far and are mere but close assumptions.
Website's PageRank Impact
PR 0.0 50 and above links required to earn a PR1 or PR0.
PR 1.0 About 5-10 links from this blog Can Earn you a PR 1.0
PR 2.0 One Link can Earn you PR1
Greater than 5 Links Can earn you PR2
PR 3.0 One Link can Earn you PR 1 or PR2
Greater than 5 Links Can earn you PR2
PR 4.0 One link can earn you PR2
5 Links Will Earn you PR3
15 and above links will Earn you PR4
PR 5.0 One Link can earn you PR2 or PR3,
Not sure about PR5 and PR6
PR 6.0 One Link can earn you PR3
Two Links PR4
Not sure about PR5 and PR6

I have mentioned the impact of 15 links only for PR4 because this is what I have achieved so far and I really don't know the intensity of impact at higher PR's for such numbers of link density.
For the past one year I have been receiving Guest posts on my blog and I have observed how the number of posts from this blog benefitted the Guest Author. With this current PR update MBT guest Authors have received a PR1, PR2 and PR4 from a low PR stage. Hassam our Senior Guest Author managed to receive a PR 4.0 while initially at a PR 0.0 just by writing 25+ posts at MBT and still counting.
So if your fellow mate received a PageRank increase with just  one link and you could not with 20 or above links then check back to see if your incoming links are rich and significant. This is one reason why some rank high while others do not!

2. Balance Between Incoming and Outgoing links:

Make sure to link external sites only when needed. When you link external link , you are indirectly sharing your PR with that site. Linking low quality websites or linking Iframe pages etc often effects your PR. Of course your outgoing links will always be greater than your incoming links but keep the ratio between them as low as possible. This is indeed one of the best optimization strategies which is highly recommended.
If your incoming links are 100 and outgoing links are 10,000 then the chances of a PR drop is certain. One way of keeping external links low is to Tag them as nofollow. The nofollow tag will only allow your readers to visit that link but that link will not be crawled by Google robots.

3. Use of your Current PageRank

Now this phrase has a complete different meaning. This will answer the question that why your PageRank drops when you have done nothing wrong.
You loose your AdSense Account when you violate Google Terms of Services, similarly you loose your PageRank when you disobey the rules set by Google PageRank team. It is been clearly mentioned several times by Matt Cutts and other webmasterhelp members that PageRank should not be misused. Misusing means selling links on your website to link builders especially webhosting companies. Selling links is equal to recommending a website to Google just for the sake of money and not because of quality content. When you receive a PR 3 or above, many linkbuilders will contact and pay you to add their link to one of your high ranked post. They will pay you as high as $200 per link for one year or all time. Money is something that no one can resist thus they commit this crime and upon next crawl of your page, Google detects that a new irrelevant link has been added to your post which was previously not present and then the robot scans other pages of your blog and finally comes to a conclusion "Link Sell Detected!"  Thus on next update you loose your hard earned PR. Please do not worry about revenue, give more value to readership and social rank. Revenue will naturally follow up.

Search Engine Optimization (SEO) SEO Tips

Website Optimization is a complex issue, but should be known by every entrepreneur who wants to succeed on the Internet.

According to the dictionary of the Royal Spanish Academy, optimize is finding the best way to perform an activity. Therefore, optimization of your website would make it comply with the best possible with each of its functions.

Recall that if a site is designed only to achieve success in the Search Engines, better known as search engines will not be successful with users as the machines do not buy, not sell it. If, however, is intended only for individuals, difficult to achieve a good positioning in search engines and users will not find, therefore, not sell. In conclusion, a successful web site must comply with both their functions inevitably related to Search Engines such as those associated with the usability by site visitors.

We have said that anyone wishing to succeed in the Internet market should make a website that is a true "virtual branch." That is, this should be an extension of your company and operate as a local online. For this, the site must achieve the objectives for which it was created, must be compatible with the principles and policies of the Company, be functional and actually transmit useful information to its users.
